《福爾摩沙鐵道浪漫印象》承蒙臺灣鐵道史專家蘇昭旭老師的審閱與校註，使得正確性與公信力大增。本書在撰寫繪製的過程中經蘇老師指導，多次修改重製，才有最終的成果，若非蘇昭旭老師的傾囊襄助，本書今日斷不可能出版。
本書以插畫繪本的方式呈現臺灣在日本時代與後續延伸的鐵道美學體驗，這些插畫是經過藝術手段以創造浪漫的印象，並不完全寫實，但仍能看出當年鐵道建築與器物的精緻優雅，對照於今日的醜陋混亂，難怪會讓年輕人產生「隔代浪漫」的幻想，發思古之幽情，雖然他們並未親身經歷過那個年代。
本書不但有知識性，還具有藝術性與收藏價值。我是以「終身典藏」的心情在做這本書，期待您也以同樣的心情來收藏它。
