楚辭是我國春秋戰國時代楚文化的結晶，它是繼《詩經》後我國古代又一部具有深遠影響的詩歌總集。楚辭不但是漢代賦體文學的根祖，而且還主宰了四百多年兩漢文學藝術思潮，給予了中國文學藝術極大的影響。現在我們能見到的最早的《楚辭》注本是王逸的《楚辭章句》，本書《楚辭全譯》即以《楚辭章句》為基礎，注譯了其全部作品，另外還增補了賈誼著名的 《鵩鳥賦》《吊屈原賦》兩篇辭作。本書譯文，為了準確多採用直譯；注釋則擇古今學者合理解釋而從之，言之有據。
"黃壽祺（1912-1990），字之六，號六庵，福建霞浦人，原福建師範大學中文系教授、副校長，古典文學研究專家。對《周易》造詣頗深，著有《論易三書》《易學群書平議》，與張善文合著《周易譯注》《周易研究論文集》等。
梅桐生，1947年生於湖南衡陽，1982年福建師範大學中文系古典文學研究生畢業，受業於黃壽祺教授。貴州大學中文系教授，主要從事中國古典文學研究與教學。"
