本叢書由吳家鏡先生翻譯「漢方の臨牀」月刊，
原計畫出版36輯，因譯者吳家鏡先生過世，故僅編譯完五輯。
吳家鏡先生當年鑒於台灣的中國醫學資訊匱乏，有志人士雖欲振學中醫，
但因缺乏資料，難明中醫和漢方醫學的國際動向，
故將日本「漢方の臨牀」月刊，
逐期選譯國人急需的篇幅，將日人寶貴的經驗與心得，介紹給國人，
